Snow in the Clouds

“Bloom” is the most beautiful thing in the world, and also the cruelest of love curses. Those afflicted with it seem to have peach blossoms blooming all over their bodies. They grow more and more beautiful as they age, reaching their peak at eighteen, then suddenly grow old.

Yang Xueluo, born into Ningyou Pavilion, the largest organization in the martial world, has always concealed the fact that she is afflicted by “Bloom.” That is, until she meets the one she loves, Yun Xuan. The two flee the organization in search of freedom, wandering from place to place before becoming separated in southern Xinjiang. Xueluo eventually ends up at Moon-Sleeping Tower, renowned throughout the land for its poisons and arcane arts. Within its walls, layer upon layer of veils are lifted from the past, and the truth of love and hate emerges. When “Bloom” opens in all its glory, will her life wither away, or will the most beautiful flower blossom?
