"The Rolling Huaihe River" is divided into three major volumes. It describes the decline and development of a small village by the Huaihe River in an epic scroll style.
The first volume mainly writes about the rampant banditry during the Republic of China. The story is novel and unique, artistic and interesting, and highly readable; the second volume mainly writes about the Anti-Japanese War and natural disasters, restoring historical facts; the third volume mainly writes about the historical legacy caused by the war, and the small villages gradually seeing hope in the changes.

A super good book that describes the true nature of human nature
It is very touching. Although the words are not gorgeous, the story is shocking.
The storyline of this book is so exciting! The author uses the small villages on the banks of the Huaihe River as the background to unfold a magnificent historical picture. I especially like the plot about misunderstanding in one volume, which is unexpected yet reasonable. Moreover, the author's portrayal of characters is also very delicate, such as Zhao Guodong and Zhao Ming, which made me see the impermanence of fate and the complexity of human nature. All in all, this is a great book worth reading!
Well written, give it a thumbs up
Excellent work, worth watching
There was no liberation at that time, and Huaibin County had not yet been established. Before the county was established, it was called Wulongji.
I haven't figured it out yet. The life of ordinary people is not very attractive. If you look at it casually,
A large river with wide waves has witnessed the perseverance, simple and hard-working character of the people on both sides of the river, and has carved out each of the distinctive characters!
The writing is quite good, especially the storyline, but there seems to be something missing. Is it the characterization?
The characters are delicately drawn, ordinary yet tall. The writing is elegant and smooth, and the narrative is simple and authentic. It's everyone's style.
