Harem****

This book uses a unique perspective to show the ups and downs of the fate of Chinese harem beauties in the past dynasties. The characters have distinct personalities and different experiences. I like the plots in the book that are full of wit and emotional entanglements, especially the fight and growth of the female characters in the harem, which allowed me to see their tenacity and wisdom. History is always full of drama, and this book is even more so. It makes you want to read it.
