After transmigrating at the speed of light, Li Buyi becomes the companion spirit of the Ninth Princess of the Dayong Dynasty: an utterly ordinary orange cat.
Li Buyi just wants to laze around, eating and waiting to die, and enjoy a quiet cat's life.
Unfortunately, the princess is determined to become the female emperor of Dayong, and she needs her companion spirit's help to achieve that. So she tries every trick in the book to get Li Buyi to help her.
As an utterly ordinary orange cat, Li Buyi can only say that there's nothing he can do.
Luckily, the sign-in System activates.
With the System here, there's hope for his life as a cat.
With the System here, the Ninth Princess can finally stop pestering him.
Li Buyi: “There are only three things I want in this life.”
“Food and drink! Food and drink! And more damn food and drink!”
Ninth Princess: “Do I look like something you can eat?”
Li Buyi: “Please, I'm really just a cat. I really can't help you become the female emperor.”
