My Wife Is the Empress

Lin Chen transmigrates to a fantasy world and is saved by a masked woman. The two depend on each other, become husband and wife, and live a peaceful, happy life. His wife never lets him see her face, however, and then one day she suddenly disappears without a trace. Three years later, a troop of armored cavalry arrives at Lin Chen’s cottage. Their commander is a peerless goddess of war, beautiful enough to make fish sink and geese fall. She falls silent as she looks at the portrait Lin Chen painted of his wife.

“Do you live here alone?”

“What about your wife? You’ve waited three years for her. Was it worth it?”

“It was. We promised each other we’d stay together until the end of time.”

“Ding! System successfully loaded. You are now the Lord of White Emperor City. Reward: Immortal-Martial Nine Suns Divine Art.”

Lin Chen is astonished to discover that this is the wife who disappeared three years ago, now the emperor of the Great Xia Empire.
