The first book to learn about Russian history
The characters in it have distinct personalities, especially the tough Normans, whose courage and determination are admirable. However, I kind of hate those conservative Tsarist Russian aristocrats. Their selfishness and narrow-mindedness hinder the development of the country. Overall, this book gave me a deeper understanding of Russian history, and I recommend you read it too!
The layers are clear and the logic is rigorous. It is a good book. However, the names of people and places in the book are too long, which makes it a bit troublesome when reading.
It truly and objectively writes the true history of Russia, which is worthy of exploration, reading, and collection by future generations.
