This book truly shows the life of Chinese immigrants in Vancouver. The character Li Tianhao has a very distinct personality. His cynicism and unquestioning tone impressed me deeply. His experience also made me realize how difficult life is as an immigrant. This book gave me a deeper understanding of the lives of Chinese immigrants and made me think more about my future.
The storyline has ups and downs and is very interesting.
