The Secret of Hou Ergou

My name is Hou Ergou, and I’m the adopted son of Hou Dalong. I’m straightforward and can’t stand injustice. The people I hate most are human traffickers. Because of these heartless monsters, I was taken from my parents when I was only a few months old and became an adopted child… I despise them, and if I ever cross paths with them, I won’t let them get away. My greatest wish is to find my birth parents. I know it won’t be easy. For eighteen years, their names and where they live have been an unsolvable mystery to me. But none of that matters! I’m an eighteen-year-old young man from Fengye Village. This year, my adoptive father, Hou Dalong, passed away. After burying the only family I had, I finally set out to find my birth parents… But the world is treacherous and society is complicated. What lies in store for me?
