The Human Way: Poetry Makes Me a Sage, Suppressing the Ages

This is a world where poetry and prose can unleash immense power. The Human Emperors are the mightiest and noblest beings, the only ones honored with the title of Sage.

In this world, poetry and prose hold extraordinary power.

They can be used in battle: A sword comes from the west, slaying countless demons and fiends.

They can heal the wounded: It slips in with the wind at night, moistening all things in silence.

They can make people fly: The roc rises with the wind one day, soaring ninety thousand miles.

They can grant people eternal life: A thread of shared longevity, stretching on through the ages.

One after another, the Human Emperors who held their eras in check have vanished. The demons seize the chance to plunge the world into chaos. What will become of humanity?
