"Rebirth: The Third Anniversary of the Wenchuan Earthquake" was written by Guan Renshan, the famous writer and chairman of the Hebei Provincial Writers Association, to commemorate the third anniversary of the "5.12" Wenchuan Earthquake. Mr. Guan Renshan himself is a survivor of the Tangshan Earthquake. His personal experience gave him a closer feeling and compassion for the earthquake. One month after the "5.12" Wenchuan Earthquake, he went to Sichuan for in-depth interviews. He once wrote and published the reportage "Touching Heaven and Earth - From Tangshan to Wenchuan", which won the "Five One Project" Award from the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. In 2010, he published an original novel "Tangshan Earthquake" which received many praises.
On the occasion of the third anniversary, Mr. Guan Renshan put aside many manuscripts and concentrated on retreat to create this soul-stirring masterpiece for the people of Sichuan. The novel breaks away from the general pattern of similar works and stands higher. From the perspective of the endless inheritance of the great love of the Chinese nation, it tells a story of traveling thousands of miles to deliver love from Tangshan to Wenchuan to Yushu.
