Mobile Infantry: Invasion

In 2149, “paranormal phenomena” began occurring frequently around the world. In the famous Bermuda Triangle, for example, a cargo plane belonging to an airline was sucked into an energy vortex that suddenly appeared in the sky, vanishing from Earth without a trace... Elsewhere, there were gigantic footprints in the snow of the Alps and roaring monsters on the frozen tundra of eastern Siberia. These were the sorts of stories people chatted about over tea, but they plunged government agencies around the world into unprecedented alarm. Lin Yue, a newly graduated armored infantry cadet, found himself joining the 703rd Special Service Battalion, which was tasked with assisting Research Institute 609 and Investigation Bureau 404 in handling all kinds of “dimensional incidents.” From capturing and repatriating “uninvited guests” from other dimensions to crossing dimensional barriers and helping friends in another world fight off an invasion from the “Abyssal Plane,” Lin Yue, once an ordinary mechanized infantryman, embarked on an extraordinary path in life.
