So the Emperor Is a Woman

After the late emperor's death, treacherous ministers seized control of the court. Jiang Jiao lay low for three years, then killed the corrupt officials, purged the court, and ushered in a new era. She worked tirelessly on state affairs until she worked herself to death.

Reborn into a second life, she decided to become a hands-off, foolish ruler who cared only about enjoying the world. But then... everything changed.

The young man who had wanted to kill her in her previous life insisted on becoming the sharpest blade in her hand. The scholar who had refused an official post and defected to an enemy state begged to be her chancellor. The young princess who had once besieged her city for days now guarded her frontier. Even the swordsman who spouted nothing but benevolence and righteousness began promoting the laws of a great nation on her behalf...

And what of the chief eunuch who had once worried about how hard she worked? Now he nagged her every day to attend court.

Jiang Jiao didn't understand. Why was it so hard to be a foolish ruler?!
