I Am Legend

It was because I watched the movie "I Am Legend" and then read the original work. What a great book. Played so vividly by Will Smith, you can never tire of it, and your heart aches every time you watch it.

Almost all the chapters in the book are good. Although they are all short, they have compact structure, concise writing and extraordinary writing power. Although by current standards, the description content in some chapters is somewhat cumbersome and boring, but if you think about it carefully, you can find endless imagination in it. Unfortunately, except for the first and last chapters, which left a deep impression on me, the other chapters were more of short-lived and subtle highlights. Although they are eye-catching, they cannot leave a deeper memory, which is a bit uninteresting. On the contrary, the introduction at the end of the book mentioned many movie adaptations, which piqued my interest. Maybe I will try to watch it later. A collection of Mattson-style male paranoia short stories, with occultism and science as the main themes, describing how individuals struggling to survive isolated in a dangerous environment.

Although the story is a bit sad, it is full of thoughts about human beings and makes people moving. Moreover, the details in the book are well described, such as the man's clothes and expression, which made me feel like I was seeing it live. Overall, this is a very good book and worth reading!
