"Selected American Prose" is a reprint of "Selected American Prose" (1989) published by Beiyue Literature and Art Publishing House. The purpose of reprinting is based on the following considerations. As far as we know, the book has been widely welcomed by readers at home and abroad (including Hong Kong and Taiwan) since its release. However, due to the small print run and the fact that it has not been reprinted, the book market has disappeared for a long time, causing book buyers to often give up and return. In view of this, our publisher has decided to republish this book to meet the needs of readers and to give this excellent translation a new lease of life.
