From 1843 to 1848 (except 1847), Dickens published a novella every Christmas, with a total of five novels, which were collected and published under the name "Christmas Stories".
These novels are by no means purely episodic works; they focus on the author's dream of reconciling social contradictions and his emotions of sadness and disappointment.
Just take the most famous "A Christmas Carol" as an example. The story describes a stingy old businessman who is led by three ghosts on Christmas Eve to see the good intentions of the poor and the fate of cruel people, and then he becomes a generous and kind person.
"A Christmas Story" is deeply rooted in the hearts of the British people, and the characters in it are almost household names.
Many critics believe that its publication marked a period of prosperity for Dickens's creation.

Wow, this "Christmas Stories" is so great! Dickens' writing is always so powerful and makes me feel like the protagonist in the story. Especially in "A Christmas Carol", the stingy old businessman was led by three ghosts to see the kindness of the poor and the fate of the cruel people, and finally became generous and kind, which really moved me. This reminds me of Ebenezer Scrooge in "The Stingy God of Fortune". They all changed themselves through some special experiences. I think this book is not only suitable for reading at Christmas, but also suitable for feeling love and warmth at any time.
