Yun Yifei knows there's a huge secret hidden in this world.
Beneath the calm routine of everyday life lies a game that can cost people their lives.
When unfortunate people lose all hope, they may "luckily" come across a "storybook," becoming part of a story and diligently filling in its incomplete, history-forgotten tale in exchange for the hope of saving themselves.
At least, that's how it looks on the surface.
But what does any of that have to do with Yun Yifei? She's just an ordinary, overage female college student with a weird superpower that lets her discover stories and enter them. All she has to do is watch the show in the story world, pretend to be an NPC, and pick up some materials for her thesis along the way. Then she'll be set for life.
Until one day, the popular senior at school grabs her hand.
Oh no! How did I become a player?
Ugh, now I have to take part in the game regularly!
But it's fine. I'll just use my golden finger to woo the senior. After all, I used to be an NPC~
