"The Case of Di Gong of the Tang Dynasty" successfully created "China's Sherlock Holmes" and was translated into and published in many foreign languages, leaving a significant mark in the history of cultural exchanges between China and the world. Fifteen versions of the translated version of "The Case of Di Gong of the Tang Dynasty" are planned to be published. Zhang Ling, who has studied Gao Luopei for many years, is responsible for the translation and writes annotations and postscripts that are both academic and readable. It is currently the only version on the market that has been independently translated by one person. The second volume of "The Case of Di Gong of the Tang Dynasty" includes "The Lacquer Screen Case", "Chaoyun Temple", "The Red Mansion Case", "The Royal Pearl Case" and "The Case Collection". Each volume is equipped with illustrations created by Gao Luopei himself, full of ancient charm and pleasing to the eye. "The Painted Screen Case" tells the story of the year 664 AD when Di Gong was appointed as the magistrate of Penglai County. He and Qiao Tai temporarily stayed in Muping and solved two cases of the murder of the county magistrate's wife Teng Wu and the mysterious suicide of businessman Ke Zhiyuan.

This "Paint Screen Case" is really wonderful! In the story, Mr. Di is extremely intelligent and can solve cases like a god. His logical thinking is admirable. The characters in the book have distinct personalities. I especially like Judge Dee's deputy Qiao Tai. He is brave and loyal and is Judge Dee's right-hand man. Moreover, the plot of this book is full of ups and downs, suspense and thrills, which made me unable to stop reading it. Mr. Gao Luopei's writing style is also very good, vividly showing the social features of the Tang Dynasty. All in all, this is a great book worth reading!
It's amazing that a foreign writer can actually write a masterpiece of mystery and crime-solving with an ancient Chinese flavor!
I can't believe this is a novel written by a foreign author!
Know a lot about Chinese culture
Worth a look!
Read more, read good books, play less games, there are stories in books
I can't tell it was written by a foreigner. The plot is attractive and the logic is reasonable.
