[Mechanical Modification] [Ability Awakening] [Post-Apocalyptic Wasteland]
Twenty years ago, a mysterious virus arrived alongside the Calamity, and the whole world became a living hell in an instant. Beneath the red fog, countless animals mutated into terrifying Blighted creatures. The Ascendant Empire, made up of humans who had awakened abilities after being infected, and Agartha, an underground nation that uploaded consciousness and embraced mechanical modification, became humanity’s last refuges...
Twenty years later, the Calamity returned. In the midst of disaster, Lin Hui awakened his ability and slew the threat, instantly becoming the brightest star in both empires!
A white-haired, red-eyed succubus consumed by desire, a supreme empress who cradled a black cat, an adorable, airheaded healer with an abundance of healing power...
But none of them were his!
Just when Lin Hui thought he had finally found love and could put an end to his career as a great mage...
He became a dad again.
With a toothbrush in his mouth, Lin Hui took a small step backward.
He peered through the half-open door at the bed, then rubbed his eyes.
It really wasn’t a dream.
The girl, identical to the stone statue from his dream, was curled up on his bed, clutching the blanket he had used in a bundled-up embrace.
Her silky golden hair spilled across half the bed, as if she were wrapped in sunlight.
“This is really something. Things are getting harder and harder to explain!”
Now I like to read novels that are neither too long nor too short, between 1 million and 2 million words, so that I won't be unable to read them anymore, and they won't end abruptly when I reach the climax. Lin Hui and Mu Henghui's portrayals are more deliberate, especially the transition from policeman to lamp bearer is rather blunt. The identity transformation is completed in just a short space of time, which feels a bit out of sync. The following chapters of God King and Li Wanduzi are also very fast and end for the sake of ending, but overall it is still a book worth reading, especially when there is a shortage of books.
I have a question. Why does the protagonist fall into conspiracy and conspiracy from the moment he saves his younger brother? There is no problem with that, but the protagonist's younger brother doesn't even know if he has been rescued. Has the protagonist forgotten it, or has that paragraph been changed? I want an answer.
A very good novel, the plot is coherent and exciting, and the portrayal of several characters is also very successful.
It's quite interesting and the characterization is great.
It's good to watch. There may be a previous episode, but I won't go into details. Realize it yourself.
I don't know that.
Like. Like very much
