The Witch Angeli

The heroine, An Jili, is descended from the Lion King family. Her family has her parents killed for eloping. She is rescued by Hertz, a retired mercenary, and goes into the mountains to live in seclusion with him.

Even amid the chaos of the times, the mountain forests are a peaceful haven. As fate would have it, when she is fifteen, the old mercenary dies in battle, and An Jili leaves the valley to gain experience.

Her mother’s final words were: If she is ordinary, don’t tell her any of this. Let her live a peaceful, safe life. But if she has the ability, then not a single living soul in the Lion King family should be left alive.

Because of her mother’s last words, the older generation’s ruthless training, the cruelty of the world, and her best friend’s viciousness, An Jili’s kindness is gradually extinguished, until she becomes the most ruthless woman in the world.
