Summer Night Rain

“I'm greedy enough that I don't want you to be just my senior.” Mu Qinyu took a step closer. Zhong Xiaye instinctively retreated half a step, then stopped.

Mu Qinyu didn't come any closer. She gazed steadily at Zhong Xiaye. “I can keep walking toward you, but I won't force you to let me get close.”

Zhong Xiaye brought her foot back and stood still in silence. Just as Mu Qinyu was about to say something else to move past the moment, Zhong Xiaye took a long step toward her, closing the distance of her own accord.

“You aren't forcing me. I'll come closer to you, too. I don't want to be just your senior, either.” Zhong Xiaye smiled, finally at ease. A confession takes courage, but once spoken, it feels like such a relief.

“Zhong Xiaye, though wine blurs my senses, my thoughts are clear. You are in my heart, bright as the moon.”

“Mm. Though wine makes me long for you, my heart is set. Let us walk through life together, hand in hand, never to part.”

From the pursuer's point of view. A sweet, fluffy romance, go in without thinking. Lots of author-invented details, all added to serve the plot. Don't mind the Mary Sue writing.
