Butterfly******

I started reading Western literature with Jane Austen, and later read the books of the three sisters in the British literary world. This book is my first exposure to modern Western romance. I was still in junior high school at the time, and I was reading traditional paper books, which was very enjoyable. Basically this book was my favorite book when I was in middle school. Every few years I read it again. Later, I went to college and left my hometown. After graduation, I worked and got married in another place. I rarely go back to my hometown. My mother sold her old house a few years ago. I went back to sort out old things. I sold a lot of my childhood stuff. But I was reluctant to sell this copy of Butterfly Dream. I think of it as a memory from my adolescence. There will always be a place for it in the house. This book is so wonderful! Although the character Rebecca never appeared, her image was deeply imprinted in my mind. She is like a mysterious butterfly, looming in the story. I feel that sometimes I am like the protagonist in the book, full of curiosity and expectations for the future. I want to learn from Rebecca and pursue my dreams bravely without fear of difficulties. This book made me understand that as long as we work hard, we can all break out of the cocoon and fly towards a better future like a butterfly.

More than forty years ago, I watched a movie adapted from the novel of the same name. Now I have time to read the novel again, and I feel extremely comfortable and kind. Film and television works have their own characteristics, but novels also have their own charm. Although the author of this book is a woman, I personally think that female writers tend to have more delicate emotions, so they have unique advantages in plot conception, psychological description, and scenery display, such as Agatha. This book is worth reading carefully by readers who love foreign literature.

At first I thought I had guessed the ending of the male and female protagonists - they finally separated. Then I felt that this was a story in which the male and female protagonists got married suddenly after not getting along for long, and then they found that they were not compatible and broke up.
