In a book of this type, the plot summary of each short story is generally simpler than that of a novel, making it easier for readers to understand. However, I think this type of book actually tests the author's ability more, because it is necessary to write short stories without being boring, and at the same time maintain a certain level of excitement. Among these short stories, several stories are written directly from the perspective of the murderer. This should be relatively rare in Keigo Higashino's books, and it also gives readers a new perspective to experience the story. There are also some touching stories with a mysterious twist. It should be regarded as a relatively new writing method of Higashino Keigo. It's very interesting, and each short story is like a bedtime story without being boring.
