Songs of the Han Palace

She was a descendant of Xiang Yu, gifted and quick-witted, and had a deep-seated grudge against Liu Bang, Empress Lu, and even the Han Dynasty itself. Yet by a twist of fate, she entered the palace as a commoner to serve Empress Lu.

In the palace, she kept a low profile and plotted carefully, waiting for the chance to avenge her country's fall and her family's ruin. But an imperial decree forced her to go to the State of Dai and keep watch over Liu Heng.

Liu Heng was a prodigy from a young age, broad-minded and ambitious. He worked tirelessly to govern and cherished his people like his own children. He possessed both the talent and bearing of an emperor.

Through the court and the palace, the two drew closer, then farther apart, until they joined hands through countless battles and political intrigues, winning the realm and building an enduring empire that would earn them fame for generations to come.
