Master of Forgery Hunting

Chen Zheng, the famous Republican-era master of antique counterfeits known as “Ghost Hand,” died a heroic death protecting Chinese cultural relics from vandals. He was then reborn into the body of Chen Zheng, a spoiled heir from a once-prominent but now impoverished antique-dealing family in the modern era, and became the Su family's live-in son-in-law.

Facing a snobbish mother-in-law's torment and a rival in love watching him like a hawk, Chen Zheng struck it rich with a painting-within-a-painting he had picked up at a bargain: Tang Yin's Painting of Palace Courtesans of the Kingdom of Shu. He won a bet and pocketed 18 million.

From then on, he burst onto the antique scene. Appraising treasures, spotting hidden gems, exposing fakes: he forged his own path and became the king of the trade.

“This thing is fake. It was made by Ghost Hand.”

“How do you know?”

“Because I'm Ghost Hand...”
