The Immortal Tomb

In the mortal world, the Divine Court reigns supreme, and even emperors must pay tribute to it. Above the imperial dynasties lies the endless void, and above the void stands the Immortal Palace, overlooking the Nine Heavens. The Immortal Palace governs everything in the world, even enslaving the Heavenly Dao.

Years later, a man entered the nothingness, broke into the Immortal Palace, slew billions of immortals, and freed the Heavenly Dao. From then on, the Immortal Palace became an immortal tomb, and the Nine Heavens turned to grave soil.

History has little to say about him. It only remembers one thing he said: “I am the number one immortal under heaven, free and easy in the mortal world!”

What’s so great about eternal life? The cycle of reincarnation is far more exhilarating!

What’s so great about being an immortal? Mortals live with far more freedom!

There are countless immortals under heaven, but when they see me, they must all lower their brows.
