<1v1, both leads are faithful><career-focused><some angst>
In the third month of the Great Rong Dynasty, thirty years passed in another timeline.
Du Ruo was ambushed and fell into a deep sleep. In her dreams, her soul transmigrated to a modern world in another time and space, where she studied medicine and worked as a doctor in charge of patients.
When she awoke, she was still the Du family's eldest son, a woman disguised as a man.
Soon after, her father was caught up in a palace power struggle and died by accident.
Determined to avenge him, she joined the Imperial Medical Bureau and began navigating the palace.
The Empress Dowager was ruthless, the emperor scheming, the prince possessive, and her colleagues cunning...
She guarded her secret identity as she fought her way through schemes and epidemics.
Ten years later, she stood in court as history's first first-rank imperial miracle doctor, and had gained a little one of her own.
The writing is very good and the details are very attentive. It's real, doesn't highlight non-human abilities, is slightly sadistic, and has its own funny bugs. This is my favorite heroine story. It may not be perfect, but she is definitely a career-oriented heroine, neither a nymphomaniac nor a love-minded one. In the early stage, the presence of the male protagonist is slightly low (almost no appearance), but the emotional line will be strengthened in the later stage. The male and female protagonists are both rational growth types, so it can be considered a realistic style! No golden fingers, no space, no system. It is called time travel, but it is not time travel... I will omit the 8,000-word rainbow fart below.
