Reborn as a Female Emperor: My Soulguard Is a Black Dragon

After being scammed in an online romance, Qin Lan tries to end his life, only to accidentally transmigrate to a cultivation world where spiritual energy has returned. From the start, he binds himself to a System and becomes the world-destroying black dragon who was sealed for a thousand years. His mission is to protect the peerless Empress as she regains her true form and returns to the upper realm.

Sparks fly between them on their journey through the Canglan World. Qin Lan, a "gentleman" who only wants to cultivate the righteous path and has no illusions about romance, gets swept into a "whirlwind of passion" by the Empress's advances. She has a sweet face and a serious fondness for acting haughty and coy.

After winning the Empress's heart, Qin Lan gets "tormented" every day. Unable to withstand her affectionate embrace, he runs away from home, only for the Empress to hunt him down everywhere.

Empress: Tell me! Where did you hide my husband? Hand him over!
