The two terracotta warrior statues carved by Qin Ying, a graduate student in sculpture, suddenly opened their mouths and spoke. One was Bai Pu, who claimed to be a descendant of Bai Qi, the Qin dynasty general known as the Lord of War; the other was Li Xin, grandfather of the Flying General Li Guang. Revived through the terracotta statues, Bai Pu and Li Xin shared a single ambition: destroy the Han and restore the Qin, then put Qin Ying on the throne.
Qin Ying refused to believe that he was Qin Shi Huang’s great-grandson and the fourth Qin emperor. Bai Pu and Li Xin, however, insisted in unison that he was Qin Ying, the fourth emperor.
Bai Pu shoved Qin Ying into the Xuanji Cave, where he obtained the Sixteen Strategies of the Nine Palaces Xuanji, the Sixteen Blades of the Nine Palaces Xuanji, and the Sixteen Crossbows of the Nine Palaces Xuanji.
Qin Ying returns to the past and witnesses one major historical event after another. Will his outlook change? And what kind of clash will there be between modern ideas and a world that has fallen behind?
