Heroes of the Three Kingdoms (Six-Volume Set)

It explores why the successful succeeded and the failed fell short, and sets the record straight on people and events that are often misunderstood. In people's minds, the Three Kingdoms is a broad concept. It should not be understood as only the 60 years from the founding of Cao Wei in 220 to the fall of Eastern Wu in 280; the final years of the Han should also be included. This book begins in 180, before the great Yellow Turban Rebellion, and ends in 280, covering exactly 100 years. Hence its title: One Hundred Years at the End of the Han and During the Three Kingdoms.
