The Esper Unit

Ten years ago, after a scientific experiment made a breakthrough, a deeper investigation revealed that large numbers of unknown test subjects were hiding among humans. They had all been given a serum, and whether it could be successfully integrated depended on each subject's adaptability.

The serum contained energy that could alter genes. When this energy fused with the body, it made the test subjects different from ordinary people. Some even died because they couldn't integrate with it.

There were a thousand doses of the serum. Two hundred remained to be found, while the other eight hundred test subjects were scattered across the world. A special team, the Esper Unit, was established for this purpose.

What sparks will fly when the two organizations cross paths? When old acquaintances reunite after a long separation, will they bury the hatchet or fight to the death?
