I Dressed Up as a Ghost on Halloween, and a Red-Clad Female Ghost Appeared

[An Alternate Modern City Where Ghosts Have Returned]

On Halloween night, students hold a ghost costume contest to see who can look the most convincing. Though everyone is dressed like a ghost, the scene is noisy and anything but frightening.

“Thud!”

Then a heavy object hits the ground. A male student has fallen from a building in a strange pose. Both his location and posture exactly match those of a senior girl who once jumped to her death there, and the atmosphere turns eerie.

Just then, the senior girl, dressed in red, quietly appears among them.

“Who's playing the red-clad ghost? That costume is so convincing!”
