Shock in the Palace

Wu Zetian's grandson Li Longji (i. E. Emperor Ming of the Tang Dynasty) was young and promising, with a broad mind. He had expected that after Wu Zetian's death, the world would be in chaos, and he felt very uneasy. After careful consideration, Li Longji asked his aunt Princess Taiping for help to achieve his great cause. Because Princess Taiping was already dissatisfied with her mother Wu Zetian and hated people of the Wu family, she assisted Li Longji to go deep into the palace and force her mother to abdicate. Then, Li Longji annihilated the remnants of the Wu family, allowing the Tang Dynasty to revive.
