The Old Man Is Reborn, and I Can Hear His Thoughts

New Year’s Day, 2012.

Xu Yuan went to the hospital to visit his father, who had just undergone surgery, when he suddenly realized he could hear the old man’s thoughts.

And what’s more, his father was reborn!

Xu Yuan: “Dad, do you think this stock will go up?”

His father feigned uncertainty. “Probably?”

[It’s going to do more than go up! It’ll be a ten-bagger over the next decade!]

Xu Yuan: “What about electric cars? Should we invest?”

His father rolled his eyes. “I’m just a scrap collector. I don’t know anything about technology!”

[Of course electric cars have a bright future! Ten years from now, won’t every one of these new automakers be worth trillions?]
