"A Thousand Mountains Away" is a collection of essays by An Yiru with the theme of Tibet. It is also a spiritual book about growth and faith. The content includes both subjective and objective perspectives. The subjective perspective is the author's own sights, feelings and experiences in Tibet travel and life; the objective perspective is Tibetan humanities, history and religious knowledge. The author uses his rich experience and delicate and sensitive writing style to describe a different Buddhist pure land, as well as his continuous enlightenment, transformation and growth during the journey. She said that writing these words about Tibet is to commemorate, but it is also useless; but after all, it is a wish and a kind of origin. I also hope that everyone who has the chance to read this book will understand Tibet and find their true heart.
