In the early 1970s, tailor Niu Cao responded to the national call and joined the village sewing group. He and his nephew Xiaoliuzi led the villagers to develop the sewing group into a garment factory. Because of the good reputation, the garment factory got the opportunity to jointly operate with the market factory and gradually built a good reputation.
While leading the villagers to get rich, the two did not focus solely on profits. Instead, they established the Gaoshan Garment Industry Association, which attracted major international brands to settle in.
Niu Cao and Liu Zi worked hard and finally made Gaoshan a global down feather city, driving the city's economic development and improving the life destiny of many people.
