Synopsis

This book is a chronicle of Mu Xin, a poet, writer, and painter who has become very popular in recent years. It is dedicated to arranging Mu Xin's life in chronological order, and is divided into four parts: "Volume", "Family History", "Chronology" and "Appendix". The "First Volume" contains Mu Xin's name and business name; the "Family History" collects his family background and family members; the "Chronicle" contains his life experiences, including his studies, employment, friendships, creations, and encounters; the "Appendix" contains two self-made Chinese chronologies and a Japanese resume. This book strives to achieve two things: first, to the best of the editor's ability, collect as much information about Mr. Mu Xin's life that is currently available, and select all the information that can be dated, regardless of the size; second, to conduct necessary research on the information to ensure the accuracy of the content as much as possible. The materials cited in this book mainly come from Mu Xin's published personal writings, writings on Mu Xin and his works, writings of related figures, local documents, public and private collections, letters between Mu Xin and his teachers and friends, media interviews, etc. Wherever there is a source, all are annotated. In addition to the chronicle object, people and things closely related to it are briefly introduced in the form of notes to help the subject.

Um, I don't seem to have much to say, and I can't say that I think it's particularly great. . . I always feel like something is missing. I don't have the urge to read Mu Xin. Of course I would read it, but the introduction didn't give me the urge. Completed on September 20, 2023
