In the turbulent 1970s in Taiwan, Gu Axia, an Amis girl who had experienced the darkness of human nature, hid in a hotel stairwell for five years. One day, she finally followed Pajiru, the autistic and unable to speak "King of Killers", to her new home: the forest farm "Morishaka".
