Let's review the five stories one by one. Please note that there are spoilers below. The first one can't be said to be good, but it's not bad either. It is somewhat interesting to speculate that "there is a pocket watch", but "the pocket watch blocks bullets" and the motive are a bit beyond imagination. The second one, Xu Wei? Department of misunderstanding? Don't know how to classify it. Personally, I think it is the most outrageous in the whole book, but it is also my second favorite. Third, the motive for the murder was too outrageous, and it was outrageous to switch the body so that it would not be discovered, but it was a good red herring, at least I was really tricked. The fourth one is my favorite in the whole book. The logic is relatively strict, and the analysis of the "motivation for creating the secret room" is also quite interesting. The fifth one, in my opinion, is the worst in the book. Not to mention the inexplicable interpersonal relationships, let's just say that the murderer's reason for committing the crime was entirely coincidental: he happened to see a friend who was about to commit suicide, the friend happened to come to the accomplice's hometown, it happened that the murderer and the accomplice's shoes were the same and new, and it happened that it snowed at the same time for two days in a row... The overall look and feel of the book is not as good as Museum of Conspiracy 1, but it is not bad either. The setting of "Secret Chamber Collector" allows the author to stuff unrelated cases from different eras into one book. This book has "terrible" cases that lowered my overall evaluation of it, but there are also cases that I found interesting. Overall, I give it four stars.
Compared with other Dashan novels I have read, I think the storyline, motivations, and techniques in this book are all very good. It is not just a story randomly woven to give meaning to a conspiracy. I highly recommend it!
The logic is clear, and the way the secret room is built is amazing.
It's a very good short story in the mystery circle. There's not too much nonsense. Each chapter is a different story. It doesn't seem tiring.
It's very interesting, and the secret rooms in it are all very whimsical, such as the time difference room mentioned in the article, or the internal bleeding room, and the idea of using the secret room to cover up its own clues. Finally, is the Chamber of Secrets Collector an organization, or a god who specializes in "collecting" chambers of secrets?
The elf who solves the locked room murder case - the locked room collector [Like]
More emphasis on subterfuge than motivation. Each story is short and concise. Except for the last one, which has a novel flavor, the others are more like short mysteries. I personally like the fifth chapter the most. The time difference in the secret room + the coincidental back and forth footprints are eye-catching. Secondly, in the second part, the narrative scheme is interesting and easy to guess, but the feasibility is slightly untenable.
The characters have distinct personalities, especially the mysterious chamber collector, whose wisdom and insight are impressive. By reading this book, I felt how people's greed and fear can be used to devise tricks, and at the same time I also understood that justice will eventually defeat evil. I think this is a mystery novel that is worth reading and will immerse you in the fun of solving puzzles.
His imagination is still very big, and the details are written to the extreme. It is really difficult to keep up with this brain circuit.
It is composed of several unrelated small cases. The plot is not procrastinating and is a bit interesting.
The elf who solves locked room murder cases - the "locked room collector" who comes and goes like a gust of wind. The five stories are all wonderful, the reasoning process is thought-provoking, and they are worth reading again and again.
Among them, I like "The Secret Room of a Boy and a Girl" and "The Secret Room with a Secret" the most. They are really thoughtful and not forced, which makes people shine.
It's a classic, but it's a pity that it focuses too much on the case, the characters are too thin, and it's not as exciting as the alphabet...
So pretty
Continue to conquer the next book, come on
It's really great. Recommended reading!
Not bad, better than expected
What a wonderful secret room
Because the fourth secret room received five stars, I think this short story is the benchmark for literal reasoning.
The classic case reasoning is still the style of Oyama Seiichiro in the past.
The story is wonderful, each secret room is unexpected, and the author's ideas are very clever!
Why don't many people watch it?
Classic mystery novel,
Ultra-classic idiosyncratic reasoning.
Excellent, highly recommended
Very good looking. Continue to the next one.
This book made me understand that when others "came to the truth", I also came to the realization, but my brain went blank!
I feel that for people who have just come into contact with mystery novels, they can clearly understand the design and motivation of the secret room.
Ok but lower than I expected but overall not bad
The Chamber of Secrets was interesting, but many of the motivations were too weak. However, it is still a masterpiece worth watching.
