Do not kill the dawn rooster. Do not strike the noon gong. Never enter the water at dusk, and don’t look back when walking at night.
If you come across a performance, don’t listen at midnight. If you see a white figure, don’t speak to it as if it were human. Every rule is a taboo. Break one, and karma will bind itself to you.
