North and South*

This "History of the North and the South" is very interesting! The story in it is really exciting. It's really admirable that a character like Wang Jingwen can be so calm in the face of death. This reminds me of some characters in "Historical Records" who were able to stick to their beliefs even in difficult circumstances. However, I really hate Emperor Song Ming. He is so cruel that he will not even spare his own brother. Overall, this book is worth reading and allows us to see the vicissitudes of history and the complexity of human nature.
