The First-Rank Imperial Merchant: I Won't Be a Discarded Consort, I'll Become a Powerhouse

Shen Xiyan had a rough start after transmigrating. She had just suffered a miscarriage, her husband despised her, and she was only a concubine. In the household's inner quarters, her husband's cousin and a princess who was also his cousin were waiting to kill her and take her place. So Shen Xiyan made a quick getaway. She thought the world would be hers to roam, but then the only person willing to look after her, her sworn elder brother, was caught up in the empress's power struggle and thrown in prison. Shen Xiyan set out to make money so she could ransom him, and in the process of going into business, she accidentally became an imperial merchant. Before long, she had also gained the power to influence the nobility. Even her former husband came asking for a loan? Shen Xiyan turned him down with a stern face. She would never spend money on a man!
