Because of his poverty, Hao Jian decides to take part in a deserted-island survival game. To stay alive, he pushes his limits one step at a time. To hold on to his conscience, he tackles one crisis after another and fights back against the forces of darkness. In the end, as he keeps overcoming challenges, the game comes to a close, and power, wealth, and kindred spirits all come his way.
