I especially like the chapters where he recalls his childhood in "Blossoms Picked Up at Morning and Evening", which are full of warmth and nostalgia for the past. Moreover, his essays were like a sharp sword, piercing straight into the ugliness of that era. The characters in the book have distinct personalities and their experiences are also touching. All in all, this is a good book worth reading again and again.
