I still recommend reading "How Steel Was Tempered" by Tomato. The main reading notes and reading methods are all sorted out for you. You don't have to think about the relationship between the characters, it's just there. Although I didn't read the article itself, I looked at the back to see what I said I already knew about the article and what it was about. The key is that this thing is sneaky. There are also past exam questions. Although it is a bit old, it is very useful and the characters are all divided for you.

This book is very inspiring! The author Ostrovsky integrated his own experience into the story of Paul Korchagin, which resonated with me very much. There are friends like this around me. Although life is difficult, they always maintain their love for life and their pursuit of ideals. This book made me believe that as long as there is firm belief, everyone can overcome difficulties and become their own hero like Paul. It is a true classic and worth reading again and again.

I put it down after reading it in junior high school. I couldn't find a job after graduating from college this year, so I found a security guard. I thought of this book and picked it up again in my spare time.
The characters are vividly depicted, and Paul's tenacity can be seen from his four deaths and four lives.
