The story begins with King Zhou of Shang writing a poem to tease Nuwa, and Su Daji entering the palace to seduce King Zhou. It is based on the Chinese history of Jiang Ziya assisting King Wu of Zhou in defeating Zhou. It describes the confrontation between the Shang Dynasty and the Zhou Dynasty, as well as the story of explaining and intercepting the teachings of immortals in a battle of wits and techniques, breaking formations and conferring gods. Finally, it ends with Jiang Ziya conferring the gods and King Wu of Zhou conferring princes.
