Unifying the Realm: Starting with a Tavern

By a stroke of bad luck, I transmigrated into the southern kingdom of Chu as its Ninth Prince. My father doesn't care for me, my mother is confined to the Cold Palace, my maternal grandfather's family has been wiped out, and someone has even smashed my head in. The northern kingdom of Yan is restless, while the kingdom of Liang in the west watches us like a hawk. At just fifteen, the Ninth Prince has no one to turn to in these troubled times. What should he do? He opens taverns, takes on the powerful nobility, and crushes the great clans. Watch the Ninth Prince of Chu fight across the lands and unite the realm, despite layer upon layer of schemes and plots.

This book is also known as How a Down-and-Out Prince Who Only Wanted to Run an Inn Was Forced to Unite the Realm. It starts a little slowly, with some farming and everyday life along the way. If that sounds good to you, don't miss it. If not, please go easy on me.
