Fragments of Chinese History (1840–1949)

The content of this book touched me very much. It shows the changes in modern China through some historical fragments. Just like when I face the choice of getting married, I also feel hesitant and confused. The historical stories in the book reminded me of my own life, and also made me understand better that we need to learn lessons from history in order to better face the future. The author's writing is concise and clear, and his writing style is engaging and easy for people to relate to.
