His younger brothers and sisters reprimanded him for his non-resistance, but he frankly admitted that he was that kind of person, but he lived patiently. But I can't hate him anymore, I feel more sympathy and regret for him.

Juexin's beloved daughter and Hai'er unfortunately died young and passed away before him. His gentle cousin Hui also passed away with his love and affection. Misfortune never let go of Juexin and took away the loves in his heart one by one. The most miserable and painful thing in life is probably like this. In fact, the loyal and kind-hearted Juexin is very capable. The Gao family's property, weddings, funerals, and affairs all depend on him. Otherwise, the family would have been ruined by a few unsatisfactory uncles. As the eldest son and grandson, he must become the pillar of the family, and Juexin did it. However, he was too tightly constrained by the old feudal etiquette and had little sense of struggle. He mostly adopted an attitude of tolerance and surrender. He was submissive and only wanted to make peace with others when things happened, which indirectly led to tragedies happening one after another. Putting myself in his shoes, if I were him, I might not be as good as him. Jian Yun was also miserable. He admired two women but did not accept their favor. In the end, he was brave for love and left without too many regrets. Shuhua has the most lovable personality, I hope she will be the heroine of "Autumn".

Unlike Jia, Chun pays more attention to the portrayal of women, their pain and struggle, oppression and growth. The Gao family's classic amusement project, boating in the garden, seems to have changed. How happy it was at the time, but how sad it was afterwards. Fortunately, spring is here, with new beginnings, new hopes, and many, many other things.

The author borrowed the struggles of men and women in the book to write about the unyielding struggle of the Chinese people. Spring is theirs and ours.

The book is very good, describing the dark feudal autocracy and the oppression of people by foolish filial piety. Juexin is really a cowardly and unmanly person. His cowardice killed two women. Not only that, but his own son can't be saved either. It's useless for you to cry.

The second part of Ba Jin's "Torrent Trilogy" points the finger of his pen at the sin, pedantry, ugliness and persecution of teenagers within feudal families. Different from the "family" in the first part, this book describes how due to the power of the feudal lords, personal pursuit and happiness, the most precious things in life, are trampled on and disrespected. By describing the characters such as Shuying and Juexin in the book, the author calls on and urges young people to bravely step out of the cage of the feudal system and pursue their own happiness.

"Spring" describes the daily life of the Gao family, a large family in feudal society, to show the younger generation's struggle under the older generation's outdated ideas and ignorant arrangements. While describing the Gao family, another family, the Zhou family, is introduced. By describing Shuying of the Gao family and Hui of the Zhou family, the different fates of the two girls once again reveal the decadence and darkness of feudal society. At the same time, it also tells us that we must have the courage to pursue our own happiness and be the master of our own lives.

Juemin and Qin's thoughts and behaviors have become relatively mature, and they have begun to resist the feudal family and spread new ideas. Juexin was still cowardly. Although he experienced Haichen's death, he still felt that nothing could be changed. Later, after Hui's death, he began to help Shuying escape from here. Hui's death was a tragedy, but it strengthened Shuying's determination to escape there.

Ba Jin's "Spring" takes Juehui's freedom after escaping from her family as the starting point, revealing the continuous performance of family tragedies. In the story, Juexin's cousin Hui was married by her father into the irresponsible Chen family. Although she was smart and beautiful, her fate was restricted. Jue Xin feels guilty but unable to change. The unfortunate death of Juexin's son Haier made him lose confidence in life. Juemin and Qin actively participated in the student movement and encouraged their families to get out of the family's predicament. Through "Spring", Ba Jin depicts a family full of tragedy and struggle. The novel shows the inner world and emotional ups and downs of the characters in a delicate way, and also reflects the impact of social changes on personal destiny.
