Liu Bei carried a secret manual for becoming a god through worship and incense. Aliens chose him, bestowed a Sect Leader System upon him, and sent him to another world.
His soul transmigrated into the Red Earth Continent, a wondrous land where everyone relied on soul crystals, the crystallized fruits of the soul. Those who awakened a soul crystal could follow one of three paths.
Body cultivators: Fuse soul crystals with your body and develop abilities similar to Devil Fruits.
Weapon cultivators: Attach soul crystals to weapons and develop abilities like Bankai from Bleach.
Spirit cultivators: Fuse soul crystals with spirit beasts and develop abilities like Stands from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.
Soul crystals can take the form of anything: hoes, sickles, springs, flowers, bees, cream, whistles, leaves, guns, fire, ice, gravity... It all depends on how you develop them.
I put myself into it, and I loved it. It was so well written. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
