Gu Changan, the male protagonist in this book, is my favorite and unique male protagonist character among all the novels I have read. He is a gentle, kind-hearted, secure and caring beauty. When Yu Qinghuan and Gu Changan met, I was actually very panicked in the middle. I was afraid that it would end badly, but it gradually became sweet later on. I heard that nine out of ten love stories in the Republic of China are tragic. I really think this book is very good. It's really sad. The first half was fine, but the second half couldn't hold back the tears. Changan was devastated by Ning's deception, and later felt that he was not worthy of Qinghuan and refused to be together. In the end, Qinghuan was not long due to illness.
